Храм в честь Иконы Божией Матери Всех скорбящих радость

Церковь Всех Скорбящих Радости была возведена в 1842 году на месте обветшавшей деревянной церкви во имя апостола Фомы. Прежний храм был построен в 1816 году, при нем изначально существовала и богодельня. Новый, Скорбященский храм был первой каменной церковью в Екатеринодаре. Войсковая богодельня продолжила в нем свое существование: в ней призревались до самой смерти одинокие, без возможности себя прокормить казаки и казачки - инвалиды всех войн, начиная с Отечественной и заканчивая Первой Мировой, и сироты. Эти люди содержались на казенный счет, ухаживали за ними сестры милосердия и монахини. Постепенно вокруг храма и богодельни стали вырастать корпуса городской больницы.

По благословению митрополита Екатеринодарского и Кубанского Исидора благочинным является протоиерей Александр Игнатов.
